Algebra: Today we factored polynomials completely. We re-grouped terms to factor. Be careful of sign changes. For example: (x-4)(4-x).

Pre-algebra: Today we continued to write linear equations in y=mx + b. Remember, if you have a slope and a point on the graph, you can solve to find b (y-intercept).

Example: m = 3, point on graph (4, 6) y = mx + b 6 = 3(4) + b
6 = 12 + b
-6 = b

answer: y = 3x - 6
