Algebra: Today we continued to practice factoring x-squared + bx + c. Tomorrow we are going to be looking at 9-6 factoring ax-squared + bx + c where a is a co-efficient to x-squared. This obviously effects how we factor. We are used to x-squared being (x + )(x + ). What if we have a problem 3t2 + 8t + 4?

HW: Pg. 586 21-27 odd, 33, 35, 36, 38, 43, 45, 59, 60, 62

Decide if you want to bring in a pie for Pi day and let me know.

Pre-algebra:
Today we looked at x- and y- intercepts. We found that this way is a lot faster than using a table to graph the equation.
REMEMBER: for this homework, you must use x and y intercepts but on a test or Quiz, you can choose the method that works best for you.

Homework: Pg. 400 13-24, 27-31, 33 optional

Don't forget to plan for Pi Day.

Math I: We will be learning about Order of Operations, 6.7, today. PEMDAS.
Don't rush through these problems. Take your time to avoid mistakes.

Homework: SL 6.6

Don't forget to plan for Pi Day!

Math II: We will be continuing Order of Operations today. PEMDAS.
We will see some special cases where you might have to add first then divide. For example:
8 - (5 +3)/2 +1 You would need to first add 5 + 3 and then divide by 2. Then you would continue the rest of the problem.

Homework: Order of Operations WS

Don't forget to plan for Pi Day!
