Happy Monday!

Spirit Week!!!
Tomorrow is mixed match day!

Algebra: Today we solved factoring special products. We saw three forms: (a+b)-squared,
(a-b)-squared, and a-squared - b-squared. The third form are the easier of the three. Remember that for the first two forms, the middle term cancels out.

HW: pg 603 6, 8, 12, 14, 18, 20, 28-36 even, 46, 48, 51

Pre-algebra: Today we learned how to write linear equations using y = mx + b. Remember, parallel lines have the same slope, different y-intercepts. Perpendicular lines have the negative reciprocal.

HW: pg 422 8-11, 18-23, 27-30, 34 optional

Math I and II: Today we looked at solving one step equations by undoing adding or subtracting.
You can check any equation by plugging in your solution into the original equation. If one side equals the other side, it checks!
