Hello Students!!! Happy Tuesday!

Algebra: Today we learned how to factor ax2 + bx + c. We found that this kind of factoring takes a lot of work when writing out all of the possible factors. Just remember, the more we practice, the easier and faster we get.

Tonight’s homework: 9.6 workbook 8-12 even, 18-24 even, 28-32 even, 34, 35, 36

Good luck! ☺

Pre-algebra: Today we learned about the slope of a line, section 8.5. We also saw that if we know one point on the line (like x or y intercepts), we can use slope to plot more points. Remember, rise/run. The change in "y"/the change in "x".

Homework for tonight: Pg. 407 8-24, 28-38, 40 optional

Don't forget about Pie "Pi" Day

Math I: Today we learned about number sentences, 6.7. Remember, subtraction words need to be in the right order. Twelve minus two is 12 - 2. Four less than 8 is 8 - 4.

Homework: SL 6.7.

Don't forget about Pie "Pi" Day!

  2. Isaiah,

Don't worry. We are covering this concept again tomorrow. We will look at each step again tomorrow. These problems do take longer than the regular polynomials that we factored on Monday.

    See you tomorrow.
